WWE 2K25 is the company’s yearly entry into the world of fighting games. While most of the offerings are pretty standard just like every year, this year The Island and The Bloodline’s Dynasty are two new modes that you will be able to get your hands on in the game.
While The Bloodline’s Dynasty is a Showcase mode that is pretty standard from every other year, The Island is a brand new one, which is similar to the one that you will come across in The City mode NBA 2K24. So, here’s everything you need to know about these two modes in WWE 2K25.
What is The Bloodline’s Dynasty in WWE 2K25?
The Bloodline’s Dynasty is a Showcase that you will come across in WWE 2K25. As the name suggests, this mode will feature every single member that’s related to the Anoa’i family will be included in this showcase.
What’s more interesting is that this mode will feature key moments from the Bloodline history. Not just that, it’ll also feature wrestlers like Yokozuna, The Rock, Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu. This showcase will be hosted by Paul “The Wiseman” Heyman, and will allow you to participate in matches important to Bloodline’s history and the recent feud that we’ve witnessed in the company over the past months.
What is The Island in WWE 2K25?
From the looks of it, The Island in WWE 2K25 is an open world experience, where your custom superstar is put in a WWE-themed setting. In this world you’ll be able to participate in different challenges and storyline chapters to unlock a multitude of rewards and additional bonuses for your character.
This is the first time a WWE game is featuring this mode. It’s seen a fair amount of success in WWE 2K24, so there’s a high chance that it’ll have good reception in this game as well. However, it’s worth noting that The Island is only available on
Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately PC players will be denied access to this mode.
That’s everything that 2K has revealed about these two modes for now, so it’ll be interesting to see how things pan out and how these modes are received at launch. Considering that The Island is an important segment of the game, it being available on consoles only is rather disappointing but suggests that the PC variant may ship without any DRM.
